The Social Work Department of the Guangdong Provincial Committee visited and co-founded the Reform and Development Research Institute of Guangdong Business Association

On the afternoon of January 14th, 2025, a delegation led by Cui Jianjun - Minister of The Social Work Department of Guangdong Provincial Committee, and Xu Dianhui - Deputy Minister, paid an official visit to Sun Yat-sen University. Zhu Kongjun - Secretary of the Party Committee of Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Li Shanmin - Director of the School of Economics and Management, and Professor Zhang Junsheng - Dean of the School of Business, attended the meeting. Both parties engaged in discussions on the collaborative establishment of the "Reform and Development Research Institute of Guangdong Business Association".

This meeting refined the cooperation framework, organizational structure, operation mechanism, responsibilities and positioning of the soon-to-be-established Reform and Development Research Institute of Guangdong Business Association, and established a detailed timetable for specific areas of collaboration, laying a solid foundation for the sustained cooperation between the Social Work Department of the Guangdong Provincial Committee and the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University in the future.
