On February 20th, 2025, the Department of Management Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China held a strategic planning launch meeting and academic symposium in Guangzhou for the "15th Five-Year Plan" of the Management Science and Engineering discipline. The event was organized by the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University. Academician Ding Lieyun- Director of the Department of Management Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Liu Zuoyi- Deputy Director, attended the meeting and delivered keynote speeches. Deputy Director Wu Gang chaired the opening ceremony.

This symposium has invited 28 experts and scholars from various fields of management science and engineering from universities and research institutions across the country. It is divided into three sections: keynote presentations, open discussions, and group discussions.
