University of Macau Visited
On the afternoon of August 19, 2011, Professor SO Yuk-Chow, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, together with Associate Professor LAM Long Wai, Head of Department of Management and Marketing, visited SYSBS. They had a discussion with SYSBS leaders, including Prof. Li Zhongfei, Executive Dean, Professor Wang Haizhong, Head of Department of Marketing and Associate Professor Shi Zhuomin, deputy Head of Department of Marketing, on the cooperation between both schools.
The two schools started the cooperation since 2000, and have maintained a beneficial partnership. Through a pleasant discussion upon this visit, both sides agreed to extend the student exchange agreement. At the same time, they expressed the wish of exploring research cooperation on areas such as gaming, hospitality, risk management etc. The two sides reached a consensus that both schools should make good use of their own geographical advantages to strengthen cooperation by making helpful attempts on the Guangdong-Macau cooperation and development in various fields.
After the meeting, Dean SO Yuk-Chow also attended the 2011 Annual Conference of China Marketing Science held at SYSBS from August 20 to 21.
