2011 SYSBS Career Mentor Party Held on South Campus

On the afternoon of June 11th, 2011, over 20 career mentors from the Pearl River Delta region gathered on the south campus to participate in the 2011 SYSBS career mentor party. SYSBS Deputy CCP Secretary DAI Honghui and teachers from the Office of Career Development and Alumni including ZENG Tao, YANG Xiaohui, LIANG Wenwen, WEN Lihua were present at the party. Also Invited to the activities were CHEN Yugang, YE Min, head teachers of 2008 undergraduates, and DU Qiuping, WU Jialin, the instructors of the class of 2009 and 2010.

Ms. DAI, on behalf of SYSBS, expressed sincere gratitude to the career mentors; Mr. ZENG introduced one by one the career mentors who took part in this gathering. Later, the mentors proceeded to a free exchange section during which they enhanced mutual understanding by private conversations with each other.

SYSBS started to implement the career mentoring program beginning in 2006. By inviting alumni and successful persons in the community to be career mentors, our school intends to provide guidance and assistance for senior students in terms of career planning, social practice and employment. At the same time, since the majority of career mentors are alumni of SYSBS, this program also creates a platform for exchange and communication.
