2011 SYSBS Beingjing Alumni Forum Held
On October 22nd, 2011, SYSBS Beijing Alumni Forum was held to welcome new working graduates or students who planned to further their studies in Beijing. More than 50 alumni attended the forum.
Before the welcome party, Alumni Forum Council held the 1st plenary meeting. President Tai Xianyu hosted the meeting with council members Huang Hui, Song Weidong, Lv Wei and Wang Gang. Li Zhongfei, Executive Dean of SYSBS, and Zeng Tao, Director of the Office of Career Development and Alumni were invited. During the meeting, council members reached a consensus on formulating Alumni Forum regulations, establishing of Alumni Forum Funding, and expanding SYSBS influence in Beijing.
The party started with a welcome speech by President Tai, an introduction of SYSBS achievements in 2011 by Executive Dean Li, and a few encouraging words by Zhang Ke, Honorary President of Alumni Forum.
Later Alumni Forum held an auction with all of the items donated by SYSBS alumni. The Office of Career Development and Alumni also offered some schoolfellows’ old photos that were taken when they first entered college. The auction collected 50,000 RMB as expenditure for alumni activities.
