Exchange Program of Accounting Majors between SYSU and CUHK Successfully Held

The exchange program of accounting majors with City University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was held from May 6 to June 5. The program invited 33 undergraduates and 3 professors from Department of Accountancy, CUHK Business School to participate in a series of activities for the purpose of enhancing the interaction of students between mainland and Hong Kong.
 

It was the ninth year for this exchange program since 2006. Thanks to the special funding from Ministry of Education, more activities were added into the program, including Business enterprise sand dish practice, academic sodality, enterprise visit, etc.
 

This year, the seminar was hosted by professors who excel at the field of accounting and taxation for discussions on the topics of the development of accounting, taxation, internal control and corporation government in mainland.
 

Moreover, students from CUHK were invited to take part in sand dish practice and enterprise visit, which greatly enriched their knowledge about China’s enterprises. Through further communication with entrepreneurs, students could obtain the essential and hand-on experience for starting up their career in mainland area in the near future.
