In the keynote speech session, Prof. Rongrong Li pointed out that a leader is a manager and the aim of management is to improve the allocative efficiency of resources so as to release the productive forces.
According to his hand-on experience, Prof. Li shared his interpretation of leadership. Leadership, which decides the scope of allocation of resources, cannot showcase the virtue of a leader. Thus, the leader-follower relationship, he reckoned, is based on the leader charisma.
At the end of the speech, Prof. Li provided insightful perspective on the path of prosperity of an enterprise, which is to select a suitable leader and an appropriate management system.
