SYSBS Holds the Inauguration Ceremony for International Students
SYSBS welcomed its new students at the inauguration ceremony on September 20 at SYSBS MBA Building. There were 72 new exchange students from 22 collaboration universities as well as more than 20 student delegates attended the ceremony.
First, on behalf of SYSBS, Professor Meiji Fong warmly welcomed all the new international students at seat in his welcome remarks. Ms. Justine Xu from the Office of Curriculum and Degree Affairs and Ms. Lenore Xu from the MBA Administration Office gave an informative presentation on course requirements and suggestions. Students then received an introduction provided by Ms. Cici Mou from the Office of International Affairs on campus service and urban life. Moreover, two dual-degree students from WFI shared their life experience and tips in Guangzhou. Finally, “buddies” and student delegations introduced the activities of the Buddy Club for this semester.
The orientation meeting ended successfully and cheerfully in the aroma of moon cakes exquisitely made for SYSBS international students. All of them expressed their expectation and excitement to the new life in Guangzhou.
