New Members of 2011 SYSU Student Council Appointed

On the afternoon of June 14th, 2011, an appointment ceremony of 2011 SYSU Student Council and award ceremony of the best electronic graduation yearbook for “My Youth at SYSU” were held in Swasey Hall on the South campus. SYSU Deputy CCP Secretary LI Ping, along with relevant leaders from all schools who are in charge of alumni affairs attended the meeting. Over 200 new members were present at the meeting as well.

DAI Honghui, SYSBS Deputy CCP Secretary, ZENG Tao, Liang Wenwen and WEN Lihua from the Office of Career Development and Alumni, along with the newly recruited SYSBS student council members represented SYSBS. After the meeting, SYSBS held a gathering for student council members from  the class of 2007 and 2011, during which Ms. DAI proposed ardent hope to the student council from each grade. It was expected that after they graduate, these student council members as class contacts, would help to build bridges between graduates and the school, through various activities.

This year, ZOU Yun and 20 other undergraduates, LUO Jiebin and 8 graduates, and HUANG Qiongyu and the other Doctoral students were appointed as members of 2011 SYSU Student Council. Ms. DAI was invited to issue the appointment letters to them.
