A Delegation from the University of Cape Town Visits SYSBS
On the morning of March 23, 2016, a delegation led by Prof. Danie Visser, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Town (UCT), visited Sun Yat-sen Business School (SYSBS). Prof. Jingyan Liu, Associate Dean of SYSBS, met with the guests and introduced SYSBS’s disciplinary development and general construction. Prof. Danie Visser introduced UCT’s disciplines and international cooperation. The two parties exchanged opinions on cooperation in multiple fields, such as faculty visit, student exchange, joint program, research collaboration, short-term courses, etc.
Members of the UCT delegation also included Prof. Evance Kalula, Director of International Academic Programmes Office and Confucius Institute, Prof. Francis Nyamnjoh from Department of Social Anthropology, and Prof. Rob Simmonds from Department of Computer Science. Prof. Rose Lu, Director of SYSBS’s Office of International Affairs, and Prof. Guangyou Liu, Associate Professor of Department of Accounting, also attended the meeting.
