National Chiao Tung University Visits SYSBS
On 26 November, Prof. Junli Hu (Associate Deans of College of Management, National Chiao Tung University) received a warm welcome from SYSBS. Executive Dean Zhongfei Li (SYSBS), Associate Dean Yu Xin (SYSBS) and Office Director Xiaoyan Lu (International Affairs Office of SYSBS) were presented.
A panel discussion was held in conference room of Shanheng Hall. Both sides exchanged the basic information of their own university and college. Basing on the same wavelength, both parties express the intention in the cooperation of co-culture of doctorate programs, as well as in the exchanging of students and faculty. Both parties are looking forward to the advanced collaboration in the future at the end of the discussion.

National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) was originally founded in Shanghai, China in 1896 as the second modern university in China and re-established in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1958 as a research-based university. Today NCTU has become a comprehensive university, ranking in the range of 251 to 275 in Times Higher Education World University Rankings, additionally, in the entire Asia region, in ranked 32 in 2013.
National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) established the Master's Class of Management Science Research Institute as the start of College of Management in 1970, set up the Management Science Department in 1971, and began recruiting students to lay a foundation for the development of NCTU College of Management. The College of Management has experienced nearly 40 years of integration and growth, and developed into one research-based college of management. It has 4 departments, 6 independent research institutes and 2 master's degree courses. Acquiring AACSB accreditation in 2007, its MBA business program ranked in the top five programs throughout Asia.
