An article titled “What Do Business Schools Need Beyond Internationalization? An Ambi-Cultural View toward the Growth of Chinese Business Schools”, co-written by Prof. Yadong LUO and Prof. Zhongfei LI, was published on the front page of the latest issue of eNewsline Asia. Both deans took the opportunity to share SYSBS’s understanding of “globalization” and the school’s experience in the “local practice of internationalized education”. The article argues that globalization is both the biggest opportunity and the greatest challenge facing Chinese business schools. It goes on to point out that business schools need to make an effort to develop localized business knowledge, so as to promote the integration of Chinese and Western management wisdom. In doing so, they will contribute to the development of set disciplines regarding international management.

Enewsline Asia, a bimonthly magazine published by AACSB International, is highly influential among AACSB member institutions. The publishing of this article has enhanced SYSBS’s influence and reputation among AACSB members. It has also laid a good foundation for the subsequent accreditation efforts of our school.
