Assistant Professor Zhang Junsheng Won the First Prize in the 2017 Young TeachersTeaching Skills Competition of Sun Yat-sen University

??The final of 2017 Young Teachers Teaching Skills Competitionwere officially held in Room 108, Guangzhou South Campus of SunYat-sen University on Jun 6. As the teachers’ representative, Assistant Professor Zhang Junsheng joined and won the first prize by his excellent performance. Our hospital has won the excellent organization award.??

This competition was organized by the Office of AcademicAffairs and selected by unified quarter-finals,semi-finals and the final. 110 contestants out of preliminary contest divided into5 groups (including liberal arts group,science and engineering group, medical group, the British group andexperimental group) and entered into quarter-finals and have been narrowed down to 48 final contestants. After a furious competition, Mr. Zhang was the first in thesemi-finals of liberal groups and entered the final with other 17 contestants. The finals decided into one grand prize, 4 first prizes, 13 second prizes, 24 outstanding rewards and 5 excellent organization rewards. This annual competition aimed to encourage youngteachers to emphasis on teaching, take part in the teaching revolution, improve their teaching contents and methods in order to accumulating experiences and upgrade their skills.

The competition course of Mr. Zhang is “Advanced Financial Accounting”, he showed superior teaching skills and styles with ingenious courseware and inspiring interaction and won critical acclaims from audiences and judges.

The experts and judges reviewed the performance of contestants after the competition. They gave credit for the initiatives of young teachers to participate inthe teaching activities and discussed the pros and the consin detail and made suggestion in courseware design details and teaching language skills.

The Young Teachers Teaching Skills Competition organized and recommended by college promoted the communication between youngteachers and improve their abilities and skills.

He has published the Dividend Income Tax Effect in EquityAsset Pricing, and participated in the compilation of History ofInvestment Thought, “Mutual Fund” and “Chinese Bull”. He has hosted thetitle of “tax corporate governance effect” of the National Natural Science Fundand entitled “listed companies executives trading their own stock behavior research” of the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Fund. He published many papers in the China Accounting and Finance Review, China Journal of Accounting Studies, “financial research”, “accounting research”, “China'sindustrial economy” and other journals.
