Australia School of Business, UNSW Visited
On 22nd September, 2011, Ms. Sue Bennett-Williams, Director of International & Admissions and Dr. Yue Wang, Senior Lecturer, School of Organization and Management, from the Australia School of Business (ASB), University of New South Wales (UNSW) visited SYSBS. ASB's willingness to further explore the collaboration between the two schools was highly appreciated.
It was a fruitful meeting concerning the collaborative potential between ASB and SYSBS. Some collaborations discussed were: (1) Student & Faculty Exchange: Both parties are interested in expanding the program to a doctoral level and agreed to host visiting professors for giving a seminar or for short-term stay depending on the need of relevant research project. (2) Joint-Research: Both parties agreed on the idea of jointly organizing mini-conferences, as a way to initiate joint research among faculties from both schools. (3) Degree Programs: Both parties are interested in developing a joint degree program at the master level and undergraduate level. The meeting was ended with a detailed discussion on co-hosting the SMS Special Conference next year.
