On September 17th, Delegation led by Professor John Kraft, Dean of Warrington College of Business Administration, University of Florida, visited Sun Yat-sen Business School. Professor Fan WANG, Associate Dean for International Cooperation and Accreditation of SYSBS, together with colleagues from EMBA program, MBA program, and Office of International Affairs, met the delegation, discussing the potential collaboration on a joint EMBA program between the two schools. Both parties have intentions on developing an attractive program aiming at recruiting talent students from multinational companies. Detailed discussion covered issues including admission requirements, curriculum design, tuition fee, auxiliary lectures, grading system, teaching and study tours, etc. Both parties held a positive attitude towards the proposed program. The meeting was fruitful and productive ended in a warm atmosphere.
 

 


University of Florida is a public and land-grant university among the nation's most academically diverse universities. It has a long history of establishing programs in international education, research and service. In the current 2012 U.S. News & World Report rankings, UF was ranked 19th overall among all the public national universities. The Warrington College of Business Administration (AACSB accredited) was ranked 27th and its MBA program was ranked 34th overall by the U.S. News & World Report, 2008.

Sun Yat-sen Business School has partnered with the University of Florida since 2006. Collaboration between the two schools started with a student exchange program. The Warrington College of Business Administration has been a popular destination for SYSBS students to choose, and the quality and performance of students from SYSBS were fully recognized by the American partner.
