University of Groningen Welcomed

Prof. Frans Rutten, Associate Dean for International Affairs from Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen (FEB-RUG), visited SYSBS on December 30, 2011. The purpose of this visiting was to discuss cooperation possibilities between FEB-RUG and SYSBS. It was the first time of Prof. Rutten visiting to SYSBS, and surely would be a new starting point for mutual understanding, and future cooperation.

Prof. FU Zhengping, Associate Dean, who is in charge of degree programs, faculty development and research, and Associate Prof. Rose LU, Director of Office of International Affairs welcomed Prof. Rutten. During the meeting, both sides introduced each advantaged majors and features, and conferred the feasibility of cooperation programs. Prof. Rutten positively expressed a good will of exploring cooperation on student / faculty exchange, joint degree programs and joint research in the future.

 

The University of Groningen (Dutch: Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, RUG) has a long academic tradition extending back to 1614, which makes Groningen the oldest University in the Netherlands after Leiden.
