Welcoming Postgraduate Freshmen, Celebrating Joyous Festival

SYSBS Postgraduate Fellowship Activity and Mid-autumn Festival Party

On September 12nd, 2011, a group of SYSBS postgraduates (including postgraduate freshmen) gathered around Central Lake Park of the Guangzhou University Town to hold a SYSBS postgraduate fellowship activity and mid-autumn festival party. They spent a delightful and splendid evening together while they celebrated the special festival.  

At 7 pm, students gathered at Central Lake Park. Student representatives from class of 2010 made brief introductions, expressed a warm welcome and extended festival greetings. Next, the class of 2011 performed guitar and singing acts that seemed to create a stronger bond amongst the students.  Then, students played games together; the games brought about lots of laughing, clapping, and enjoyable times. At last, after writing their wishes on the Kongming Lantern, students released the lanterns, ending the night. Through this activity, postgraduate freshmen experienced the warmness of feeling as though they were a part of the SYSBS family. Here, students feel at home as well as acquiring the power to overcome difficulties.  There is hope that the freshmen class can take root in SYSBS, release dreams and realize values.
