The Principal Luo Jun and His Party Went to Our School to Investigate and Survey the Discipline Construction of the Department
On the afternoon of December 23, 2016, the Principal Luo Jun and his party went to our school to investigate and survey the discipline construction, accompanied with Luo Teng, Tang Rui, Liu Jike, Bao Jigang, Liu Zeyang, Liu Mei, Xu Yao, Zhou Haitao, Li Yixi and other leaders of relevant departments. The Dean of our School Wang Fan, Vice President Liu Jingyan, Li Guangzhong, Zheng Guojian, Deputy secretary Dai Honghui, and responsible person of each scientific research platform, representatives of faculty and staff participated in the research forum.
Firstly, the Dean Wang Fan reported the achievements of our discipline construction on the history of our discipline construction, our international certification and rankings, development of teaching staff, development and construction of a scientific research project, international exchanges and cooperation, awards of research results in a provincial and ministerial level, papers published in international and domestic top journals, Production and Research Cooperation and other aspects. In strategic positioning, first of all, the Dean Wang said that the mission and vision of our school fully conforms to the goal of talent of training put forward by the Principal Luo Jun, at the same time, the advantages and characteristics of our school are that continuous innovation is occurring in various areas and levels. Therefore, the future strategic positioning of our school is "Innovative Internationalized Boutique Business School", and we will continue to build the three major platforms, of which are training platform of innovative business elite, research platform of new theories, new methods, new practices of business administration under Chinese context, as well as a demonstration platform of mechanism and system innovation. Subsequently, the Dean Wang Fan elaborated the path to achieve the goal from four aspects of talent of training, scientific research, internal governance and social responsibility, and defined tactical measures. Finally, the Dean Wang analyzed the internal and external challenges with which we faced from the perspective of successful factors of business school, and proposed to build competitive advantage from brand loyalty and win the challenge.

Next, the participants made the communication aimed at discipline construction of our school. The Vice President Liu Jingyan, Li Guangzhong, Zheng Guojian, Deputy secretary Dai Honghui respectively made a statement and introduced the relevant works. Teacher's representative, Professor Zhu Hang introduced the development situation of " Administrative Science Quarterly", and the Principal encouraged our school to complete the journals having international influence; The Associate Professor Wu Chenguang fully affirmed a series of reform measures performed by the school on the aspect of teaching and scientific research, and put forward the opinions and suggestions on the process management of leaving the country in the school. Subsequently, the Principal Assistant Luo Teng, the Director Liu Jike, the Development Planning Office, the Dean Bao Jigang, Graduate School and other relevant leaders respectively made a speech, fully affirmed the discipline construction work of our school and proposed valuable suggestions.
Finally, the Principal Luo Jun made an important speech on the research content. First of all, the Principal Luo Jun fully affirmed the Personnel reform, teaching and research and other innovation measures of our school, and he pointed out that "new look" and "new situation" was seen in this research to the Business School, each work of the school obtained a teacher's understanding and support, students' praise and the school's recognition. The Principal Luo said that he also saw "new idea" of our constructing Boutique Business School, and he encouraged our teachers and students to take a long-term perspective. The Business School was a place to train commanding talents, needing to unite people, unite forces to move forward. In the end, the Principal Luo proposed "new expectation" to our school, hoped that our Management Studies will be "Appeal to refined taste, climb the top of mountain", and stressed that the management as the Western foreign goods should take root in the China's land, and carry out the sinicization of theory, the Principal hoped that Business School can give him a greater surprise in the near future. The Principal Luo Jun also explained the connotation of discipline construction from four aspects of subject orientation, teaching staff, academic research and talent training.
After the research, the Principal Luo Jun and his party visited our office environment of full-time scientific research staff in our school, and had a cordial talk with full-time research staff, affirmed their efforts and contributions to scientific research of our school.
Our school will adhere to the development path of "Enter the Mainstream, Set the Tide Head, Go out", combining with "three orientations", deeply promote the discipline construction, carry out useful innovation, and make great efforts in order to achieve the development goal of "Innovative Internationalized Boutique Business School ".
