Two Professors in SYSBS Selected into Most Cited Chinese Researchers 2016
In February 27th, the world famous publishing company Elsevier released the list of Most Cited Chinese Researchers 2016. The data of this list is from the world's largest peer-reviewed academic papers index database, Scopus. 46 scholars in our university are selected into this list, ranking seventh in China's universities. Two professors in our school, Lu Yadong and Shi Ning, are selected into the list.

It is reported that the papers published by scholars are included in the database. Other researchers can retrieve data and get references. The basic index to measure the influence or quality of the paper is the number of the paper being cited. The influence of a scholar can be estimated based on the number of his or her published papers being cited.
Two professors in our school being selected into Elsevier's list of Most Cited Chinese Researchers is a full recognition of the worldwide scientific influence of our college. In the future, SYSBS (Sun Yat-sen Business School) will continue to increase institutional innovation and to guide researchers to focus on technological innovation. SYSBS will constantly improve the technological innovation ability and international academic influence. It will do its bit for the rising Academic Ranking of World Universities of our university.

Major research directions: Global corporate strategy, global corporate governance, international joint ventures and management and business of emerging markets
Professor Lu Yadong is an outstanding representative of the frontier researchers of international enterprise management in recent years. His research is groundbreaking in many research issues, such as the co-opetition behavior in the management of international enterprises, cooperation strategy, multinationals in emerging markets, international expansion in emerging markets, international corporate governance, etc. According to statistical data of papers published on A-level journals, which is published by the Business School of the University of Texas at Dallas, Professor Lu is one of the most outstanding Chinese representatives in the field of management. Professor Lu Yadong used to be, and currently still is a senior editor, advisor and editorial board member of many major journals. In recent years, Professor Lu Yadong has been committed to the research guidance of young scholars and doctoral students as well as the innovation and international promotion of Chinese enterprise management theories.
