SYSBS Team Wins Awards in the National Top 10 Final of the 2016 KPMG Management Case Analysis Competition
On March 5, 2016, the national top 10 final of the 2016 KPMG Management Case Analysis Competition was held in Xiamen University. The APEX team from Sun Yat-sen Business School (SYSBS) of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) won the runner-up in the competition. Shao Xunji, a member of the SYSBS team, won the honor of “Best Contestant”.

The Management Case Analysis Competition provides students with a platform to improve themselves and strengthen social practice. It is dedicated to cultivating commercial talents with elite awareness, creativity and teamwork spirit. The competition is also typically featured with strong internationalization as well as strict rules and regulations. All of the candidates are required to present and answer questions in English.
This year, a number of top universities took part in the national top 10 final. These teams rivaled with each other and displayed to the audience an amazing academic contest. After the fierce competition, the Beta Consulting team from the University of Hong Kong won the champion. The 1st runners-up were the APEX team from SYSU and the Explorer team from Fudan University. The 2nd runners-up were the Sledgehammer team from Zhejiang University, the Exponential team from Peking University, and the THGirls team from Tsinghua University.
