Special Issue Co-Published by IJCHM and SYSBS
Co-Published by IJCHM and SYSBS, the journal Ethical and sustainable practices in the tourism and hospitality industry in China was released in the Emerald data base recently (http://www.emeraldinsight.com/journals.htm?issn=0959-6119&volume=26&issue=6). This special issue is the outcome of the cooperation between the overseas editorial office of IJCHM and SYSBS.

The International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management (IJCHM) communicates the latest developments and thinking on the management of hospitality and tourism businesses worldwide. This journal is abstracted and indexed by Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI). It ranked 9th among journals in the field of hospitality, leisure, sport and tourism, in addition, its papers got high number of internet downloads in Emerald data base. In April 2014, IJCHM became the strategy partner with SYSBS; furthermore, faculty in SYSBS is also part of the editor personnel of the overseas editorial office of IJCHM. Act as the visiting professor, the honored editor-in-chief of IJCHM will give a lecture annually and cooperate with our faculty and students in the publishing of joint paper.
The successful publishing of the special issue attributes to the effort of Prof. Fevzi Okumus (University of Central Florida) and guest editors Prof. Jingyan Liu (SYSBS), Prof. Lishan Xie (SYSBS) and Prof. Xinyuan Zhao (SYSBS).So far, the 6th issue has been published in August 2014. The special issue received numbers of contributions from U.S, U.K, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao and mainland China under the theme of “Ethical and sustainable practices in the tourism and hospitality industry in China”. Eight papers were selected after anonymous review and they represent the high academic level in both the theoretical and practical aspects.
The publishing of the special issue contributes to the international development of the tourism and hospitality industry in China. Apart from that, it will enhance the academic influence of SYSBS in the field of tourism and the relative subjects.
