Seminar on SYSBS Development Strategy

On Aug. 7-8, seminar on SYSBS development strategy was held in Nansha. More than 60 people including school officials, directors and deputy directors of administrative departments and full-time teachers attended this conference. They carried out discussions concerning discipline construction, scientific research, talent training, pilot school reform and international development and pointed out future work priority and direction.

Executive Dean Li Zhongfei was Introducing SYSBS’s Workings concerning Development Plan, Key Discipline Application and Pilot School

 During the conference, Executive Dean Li Zhongfei introduced SYSBS’s workings concerning development plan, key discipline application and pilot school in details. In his summary, he confirmed the achievements of this conference and hoped that the seminar would become routinized. According to him, SYSBS would listen to suggestions about teaching, scientific research, service and establish the development direction of SYSBS.

   
  Dean Luo Yadong was Giving a Speech

 Dean Luo Yadong expressed his expectations for all the faculties of SYSBS in his speech. The leaders of SYSBS, which was the most precious treasure of our school, were obliged to shoulder the responsibility of being the hub of SYSBS’s development. All the department heads should indentify their own responsibilities and cooperate with school’s international accreditation work basing on strategic development plan. Full-time teachers were expected to realize “based on china, brave to practice, influence the main stream.”

According to Tan Jingsong, this development strategy seminar constituted the first teacher conference held outside Guangzhou. The suggestions were both theoretically and practically of great importance for future development. He deemed that the balance and coordination between new teachers and the old ones, new system and old system, academic research and business profit played a crucial part in future development. He hoped that in the future, all the faculties could have the sense of crisis and realize their responsibilities, accomplish both key work and regular work successfully, coordinate and support each other.
