Last updated:2016-10-17

??The Economist, the world-renowned British Journal recently released the Top 100 rankings of the best business schools, and our school, the only one selected business school in mainland China, ranks 98.??

??The Economist's MBA rankings, is the most authoritative third party ranking system without any other business school's data collection in the world. Our MBA programmes' first appearance in the list, proves nothing but a great international recognition of our education and the fruitful results from our school's commitment to high quality and internationalization for years.??

????In the 2016 MBA rankings by The Economist, University of Chicago–Booth School of Business, as in previous years, ranks the first. It is worth noting that the second Northwestern University–Kellogg School of Management in 2004, dropped to 23th, but has started to rank better to the second this year since 2013. The other top ten MBA  schools in the ranking are: University of Virginia–Darden School of Business, Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Dartmouth College–Tuck School of Business, University of California at Berkeley–Haas School of Business, University of Navarra–IESE Business School, HEC School of Management, Paris, and The University of Queensland Business School, among which the top seven business schools are from America, showing its obvious advantages in business education.????

??9 business schools in the top 100 come from Asia Pacific region: The University of Queensland Business School, Australia(10th), University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School (31th), University of Melbourne - Melbourne Business School(34th), Australia Macquarie University-Business School (46th), Nanyang Technology University, Singapore (69th), the Business School of Hong Kong University Science & Technology Institute (70th), Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (92th), Sun Yat-sen University – Sun Yat-sen Business School(98th), and National University of Singapore–The NUS Business School(99th).

??"The MBA programmes education well represents the comprehensive strength of a business school. To be in the authorutive world's top 100 rankings by The Economist has been a target for our school, which we supposed, would cost five or even more years to achieve originally. To our surprise, however, our school has been among the top 100 business schools graded by The Economist, which has brought us substantial recognition and encouragement from the international community, as well as the confidence for us to make our school "an international first-class business school", Professor Wang Fan, Dean of Sun Yat-sen Business School said.??

??In addition, it is said that the number of MBA candidates for interviews in advance in 2016 has been increased by 59% as compared with that of last year in the condition that the total number of MBA applicants has undergone a slight decline in China, which was a rather convincing example for our school's awarding in the top 100 business schools by The Economist. We will adhere to our key concept -- “Devoting to Education and Focusing on Practices”, to achieve our MBA sustainable development!??
