Gender Differences on Definition of Beauty and Gift Consumption

In the afternoon of December 21st, 2011, the 18th SYSBS “Erudition and Refinement, Knowledge and Skill” Afternoon Tea for academic exchanges was held on East Campus, of which the topic was Gender Differences on Definition of Beauty and Gift Consumption.

Does gender have an impact on interpretation of beauty? Will this difference exist in choosing and purchasing of presents? Based on this interesting topic, through demonstration of research findings on this subject, Mr. Liang pointed out, that gender differences really influence people’s purchase decisions on presents. Then in the group discussion, representatives from each team expressed their own ideas. In the end, Mr. Liang made comments, awarded “Best Team” to the most outstanding group and took a group photo to mark the occasion.
