SYSBS Student Union Awarded “SYSU Top 10 Student Unions”
On October 16th, 2011, the “Sun Yat-sen University Top 10 Student Unions” contest was held in the multi-function conference hall of the Administration Building on the East Campus. With great honor, SYSBS Student Union was awarded second place in the top 10 Student Unions with a score of 89.03.
This selection activity was organized by the Communist Youth League Committee of Sun Yat-sen University and Sun Yat-sen University Student Union. There were 32 other Student Unions located on 4 different campuses competing in the contest. The panel of judges consisted of presidents and standing committee members from the four campuses from which the Student Unions were located.
SYSBS has been placed in the top 10 Student Unions for 4 consecutive years now. Earning this award shows the university’s continual hard work and dedication to making the school great. SYSBS is grateful for the awards, but will continue to strive to improve the Student Union until completely satisfied. SYSBS teachers hope to lead the students in forming school traditions through the use of the Student Union and will continue to innovate and explore possibilities in how to make the Student Union the best!
