Prof. Xin Yu Selected for “Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University (NCET)”

Recently the list of selected candidates for the “Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University (NCET) 2010” of Ministry of Education was officially published. Prof. Xin Yu of our school was selected.

As a special talent supporting program established by the Ministry of Education, NCET mainly encourages outstanding young academic pacemakers in university to carry out education reform, to conduct innovation researches relevant to national major issues on science and technology, engineering, philosophy and social science as well as to make breakthrough on the cutting edge of international science and technology.

Since the implementation of NCET in 2004, six teachers of our school have been supported, which witnesses continuous improvement of faculty quality and research capacity of SYSBS. In recent years SYSBS has seized the opportunity of international accreditation to take the road of internationalism and taken various incentive measures to motivate innovation, which achieved notable results.
