SYSBS Panel Meeting for 2012 NSFC Projects Successfully Held

In the evening of December 21st, 2011 at SYSBS, organized by the Office of Research and Development, a panel meeting for 2012 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Projects was successfully held. Prof. Tan Jinsong, CCP Secretary of SYSBS, Mr. Yuan Xuyang, Deputy Director of the Office of Social Sciences and Humanities of SYSU, Ms. Luo Mengna, Science and Technology Office of SYSU, Prof. Li Xinchun, the former Dean of SYSBS, Prof. Li Jiangfan, Associate Prof. Luo Hao, Associate Prof. Shi Ning, Prof. Liu Yunguo, Assistant Dean of SYSBS and more than 60 teachers and PhD students were invited to the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Assistant Dean Liu. , including Prof. Li, Prof. Luo Hao and Prof. Shi Ning who were awarded 2011 National Natural Science Fund shared their experiences in applying for NSFC Projects respectively in terms of business administration, macro management and management science and engineering. The winner of 2011 National Social Science Fund and Major Research Project of Education Ministry, Prof. Li Jiangfan, also shared his experience. After that, Director Yuan and Ms. Luo introduced project application requirements and policy changes in 2012 supported by Education Ministry and National Natural Science Fund. It is hopeful that this meeting will make great contributions to SYSBS’ application of 2012 NSFC Projects.
