Shanghai Alumni’s Endless Love for Business School – The 2015 Annual Meeting of Shanghai Alumni Association of Business School Ends Successfully

On January 31, 2015, the 2015 Annual Meeting of Shanghai Alumni Association of Business School was held at the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory. Teacher Huang Yuansui - deputy director of Education Development and Alumni Affairs Office of Sun Yat-sen University, deputy secretary general of Education Development Foundation, Li Zhongfei - executive dean of Business School, Tan Jingsong - secretary, teacher Yu Hua - special guest, teacher Lv Yalu, Lan Yu - associate dean of Business School, Dai Honghui - deputy secretary and teachers from relevant departments of the school were invited to attend the annual meeting. More than 50 alumni of Business School in Shanghai gathered together to witness this event.
After the chorus of the school song, alumnus Wang Libing - former secretary general introduced in detail the development history of the Shanghai Alumni Association of Business School, as well as the activities of the association in recent years, and proposed a new list of members of the council, which was approved by all participants with applause. Alumnus Wu Yongjie was elected as president of the second council of the Shanghai Alumni Association, alumnus Wang Libing and alumnus Wang Yuqiu as executive vice president, alumnus Li Yumo as new secretary general.

The annual meeting was held in a relaxed and dignified atmosphere. To honor the outstanding contribution made by alumnus Wei Zhicheng - former president, the Shanghai Alumni Association appointed his as honorary president. Tan Jingsong - secretary of the school, was entrusted to issue the letter of appointment and presented gift to alumnus Wei Zhicheng. Alumnus Wu Yongjie - new President, said that the alumni will continue to pay attention to and support the development of the Alma mater. Alumnus Yu Mingdong - president of the Shanghai Alumni Association of Sun Yat-sen University, offered the greetings, hoping to strengthen the exchanges between the alumni through various activities in the future. Huang Huiyuan - deputy director and Li Zhongfei - executive dean, made speeches respectively. On behalf of the alumni association and the school, they introduced the latest development of the Alma mater and the school, thanked the Shanghai alumni of Business School for their deep love and great support for the Alma mater, and expressed their expectations and wishes for the Shanghai Alumni Association of Business School. Gu Baoyan - honorary president of Alumni Association of Business School, reviewed the establishment and activities of the Shanghai Alumni Association of Sun Yat-sen University and the Shanghai Alumni Association of Business School, expressed his deep gratitude to his Alma mater and the school, and put forward valuable suggestion for the development of the school and the alumni work in the future. Later, the alumni who participated in the activity introduced themselves briefly one by one and exchanged ideas with each other in a warm atmosphere.
