On the afternoon of May 21st, alumni of Audit major enrolled in 1992 of our school held the 20th Anniversary of Graduation Homecoming Party, and a simple and grand forum at M101, Shansi Hall, Kangle Yuan. Li Guangzhong and Zheng Guojian - two associate deans, Wei Minghai and Chen Wanling - teachers of the year, were invited to participate in the activity. More than 30 alumni rushed back from all over the country the night before the party. The heavy rain caused many flights to be delayed. "No matter how late, still good as long as the flight is not cancelled.” which's the voice of the alumni. Fortunately, they could finally come to the party as scheduled.
The preparatory team carefully planned for the party: "Back to the old days" lunch at school cafeteria, revisit the campus, remake old photos, and put on the uniform custom T-shirt... At the forum, a video of 20th Anniversary of Graduation of Auditing Major Enrolled in 1992, which was specially produced by the Career Development and Alumni Affairs Office, was played at the beginning of the activity. When the young faces from the enrollment 20 years ago appeared on the screen in the familiar music, the whole classroom was boiling up, with shouts and laughter. The activity was presided over by alumni Su Yun.
Li Guangzhong - associate dean, spoke on behalf of the school. As an alumnus of the Auditing major enrolled in 1993, he expressed his welcome to the senior students back to the school. He recalled the situation in the school then and hoped that the alumni would come home often and pay attention to the development of the school and university. Teachers Chen Wanling and Wei Minghai spoke successively, and said that they're very happy to see so many alumni come back in a neat and tidy manner, healthy and vigorous, wished the alumni stay young, and hoped that everyone would get together more often and come home often.
Alumni representatives Lai Weimin, He Haibin, Xiu Weiping, Sun Chuandong spoke one by one, reported to the teachers about the career development since graduation, and shared the feelings of the party. Alumnus Lai Weimin told us that after graduation, she worked in Andersen as auditing, studied in France, and then worked in Amway until now. After working in different departments such as auditing, financial analysis and purchasing, she felt the profound impact of auditing major on her work, and the spirit of fairness, objectiveness and independence have run deep in her blood. Alumnus He Haibin originally wanted to write a long manuscript, but felt that it would be just nice to recall the past. In his speech, he recalled the life of studying together with classmates, evening study, poem writing, student union work, debate team and certificates examinations... The pictures of practical and wonderful campus life came to mind. He also said that if there is a need for school activities, everyone will be obliged to participate. Alumnus Xiu Weiping teased himself as the representative of underachievers, and the room burst into laughter. He said that he was very excited to receive the admission notice 20 years ago and started the precious four years of university. He became the backbone of the society from a young teenager, and often thought of the university life bit by bit, with full of emotion in his heart. The feelings of Sun Yat-sen runs deep into his mind, body and other aspects. The university gave them the opportunity to study and research in depth, and taught them how to solve problems, making him and his classmates professional and respectable. Alumnus Sun Chuandong recalled the scenes of several teachers teaching in the past, and expressed three gratitude: Thanks to the Alma mater for letting us learn to give; Thanks to the Alma mater for letting us have each other; Thanks to the Alma mater for letting him find a life partner. Only when we entered the society, we understood the beauty of campus life. No matter where we are, the classmates are closely linked together. As the main organizer of the party activity, alumnus Liao Yan told the classmates to write the wish cards, and the preparatory team will open the cards in 10 years for everyone.
Li Guangzhong - associate dean, Zheng Guojian - associate dean, received the souvenir Galloping Horses Painting from alumni on behalf of the school. The alumni wished that the school would be prosperous and business flourishing. The alumni also presented souvenirs to the teachers and wished them good health and stay young.
The forum ended in the solemn and agitated school song. The alumni moved to Shansi Hall, then went to the central lawn of the school to take group photos, to relive the years of study together. To the beautiful youth. Wishing our friendship never fades away.
