Leaders of Our School Lead A Team To Visit Huawei Group And Talk with Alumni

On the afternoon of June 15th, Qi Xiaoping - secretary of the CPC Party Committee of our school led the team, including Zhang Yifang - minister of the Alumni Association of Sun Yat-sen University, He Wenfeng - alumni director of the Career Development and Alumni Affairs, Liang Wenwen - alumni secretary, Wen Lihua, Wang Yuanhuai - director of the EMBA Education Center, Yu Wensu, Zhang Xiaoyu - the Admission and External Affairs Office of the MBA Education Center, visited the Huawei Group and held a forum with the alumni.

The leaders and faculties of our school first visited the exhibition hall to learn about the products and development trends of Huawei. Huawei has always attached great importance to research and development, and its product development take a leading position not only in China, but also in the world.

During the forum session, the Financial Human Resources Department of Huawei Group introduced the situation of recruiting graduates in recent years. Then, secretary Qi Xiaoping of the school introduced the development of the university and school, and discussed with Huawei how to strengthen cooperation.

Proposed by our school, and invited by Huawei, a number of alumni graduated from Sun Yat-sen University attended the forum, including Wu Hongbin - graduate of Auditing enrolled in 1991 and master graduate of Accounting enrolled in 1995, Dai Bin - graduate of Marketing enrolled in 1999 and master graduate of Finance enrolled in 2004, Wang Feng - master graduate of Finance enrolled in 2004, and alumni who graduated in recent years including Wu Ruiling, Xu Wei, Huang Zhiqiang, etc. The alumni shared the career development experience working in Huawei after graduation, the influence of what they learned in school on their work, and discussed the content and mode of interested spare-time training. During the forum, alumni were also asked to give some suggestions to the alumni work of the university and school.

After the forum, our school presented souvenirs to Huawei, and Huawei presented the group photo taken in the exhibition hall and the book "Strivers First: Huawei's Human Resources Management Outline" to our school.
