EMBA Alumni team visited Huizhou
From May 9 to 10, 2018, our school organized EMBA alumni to go to Huizhou to research and visit alumni enterprises. Dean Wang Fan,
CPC secretary Qi Xiaoping, associate dean Liu Jingyan participated in the research.
On the afternoon of May 9, accompanied by chairman Chen Riyun - the EMBA alumnus enrolled in 2007, the leaders of our school and the EMBA alumni visited the Koala Environmental Protection Paint Showroom, the Class A Finished Goods Warehouse of Paint, the Koala Paint Provincial Engineering Technology Research and Development Center, and the international advanced biological waste gas treatment environmental protection facilities, to understand the management of the whole production process of the environmental protection paint, the current product research and development, quality testing and technical application services of the company.
After visiting the showroom, everyone discussed on school-enterprise cooperation and e-commerce development, etc. During the exchange, alumni Chen Riyun affectionately recalled the scene when he listened to the intensive lecture on e-commerce and corporate strategic management by Dean Wang Fan in the EMBA class 10 years ago. Today, 10 years later, after seeing the great development of the alumni enterprise in the field of e-commerce, dean Wang also said with emotion that "I've waited for 10 years until the good start of artificial intelligence in commerce". Presenting the most forward-looking management ideas and industry development direction for students, this is the essence and value of the EMBA program of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University.
During the visit exchange, associate dean Liu Jingyan gave instructional advice in the aspects of brand marketing, product quality and providing value space in the process of product service, etc. Secretary Qi Xiaoping reached a high degree of consensus with the enterprise alumni on "emphasizing the party building work of private enterprises".
Zeng Yichang - executive director of EMBA Alumni Council of our school reported to the alumni in Huizhou about the work of the EMBA Alumni Council and the various activities of the associations/clubs, and hoped the alumni in Huizhou could participate in more activities.
On the morning of May 10, under the arrangement of the Management Committee of the Daya Bay, under the guidance of dean Wang and secretary Qi Xiaoping, the group of our school visited the National Technology Business Incubator of Daya Bay Technology and Innovation Park, the construction situation of Huizhou Refining & Petrochemicals Project Phase II and the situation of a world-class petrochemical industry base in Daya Bay, and had field research on the high quality development driven by innovation of Daya Bay.
After the research, the leaders of our school had an in-depth discussion and exchange with secretary Zhangying of the Management Committee of Daya Bay on the high quality development driven by innovation of Daya Bay and the cultivation of management talents of the park.
