Ten Years of Glory, Move Forward Step by Step - The 10th Anniversary Celebration of EMBA Class 2 (Whampoa 18th) Enrolled in Autumn 2007 of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University Ends Successfully

On December 2nd and December 3rd, 2017, the 10th Anniversary Celebration of EMBA Class 2 Enrolled in Autumn 2007 of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University was grandly held at Hualuxe Yangjiang City Center. Qi Xiaoping - secretary of the CPC Party Committee, Professor Li Fei and Wang Huaiyuan - director of EMBA Education Center of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University attended the event. Together with all the students of EMBA Class 2 enrolled in Autumn 2007, they witnessed the last decade in their prime, and expected to move forward step by step for the next decade.

At noon of December 2nd, more than 40 alumni of EMBA Class 2 enrolled in Autumn 2007 of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University gathered at the Yangjiang Farm to enjoy the agritainment and appreciate the beauty of nature. Later, the alumni came to Hualuxe Yangjiang City Center and began the "sharing of ten years". In this session, the classmates shared their thoughts around the key words such as "gratitude", "wonderful life", "entrepreneurship", "enterprise growth", "affection to Sun Yat-sen University", "life commitment", etc.

During the two-day sharing, the alumni said that there were different changes in their life, work, entrepreneurship and study in the past, the experiences of which have made a wonderful decade.

On December 3rd, the celebration entered the second half, and the students welcomed the visit of school's leaders. Qi Xiaoping - secretary of the CPC Party Committee and Wang Huaiyuan - director of EMBA Education Center of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University, listened to the sharing of ten years by some of the students. At the end of the event, secretary Qi gave a speech on the event. Secretary Qi said that it was a very special day, on behalf of the dean and teachers of Business School, he congratulated on the great success of the 10th Anniversary Celebration of EMBA Class 2 Enrolled in Autumn 2007 of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University. And he's very happy to see that everyone's healthy and positive.

And then, secretary Qi, starting from the history of the establishment of Business School, told the alumni present about the four aspects of experience "kindness comes first", "stay true to the initial intention", "affection as the root" and "be grateful to Sun Yat-sen University", which aroused the resonance of the alumni.

Finally, secretary Qi said that the school had established the EMBA Alumni Council of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University, with the school to set up the platform, and the alumni to implement the management. He hoped that the alumni could make full use of this platform to integrate resources and create value. He wished the next decade of everyone present, Business School and Sun Yat-sen University would be better and better! And he hoped the alumni would come back to their Alma mater often.

Here are some excerpts of the sharing by classmates:

Lu Liang (Gold Rich Group, diversified industry group): The development of Gold Rich Group was inseparable from the suggestions and mutual help of our classmates! The friendship and mutual assistance between the classmates in the past decade reflected the cohesion of the class, as well as the openness and preciousness of the platform of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University. Over the years, I have always believed that the class is a platform, and the integration of resources can make our class more dynamic, which is also my expectation for the next decade of the class.

He Yufei (Gaojin Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd., which owns a number of listed companies): In the past decade, with the support of the Alma mater, our group company has been moving forward step by step. Whether it is Gaojin Group or Jinfa Technology which has been listed independently, has achieved rapid development. In the next decade, Gaojin Group will grow from tens of billions to hundreds of billions, and there will be more reforms, investments, acquisitions, etc. The platform of the group hopes to integrate more young people from Sun Yat-sen University. Our group pays attention to the cultivation of the next generation of talents, and hopes to re attract more talents from Business School through the platform of Sun Yat-sen University, so as to feed back the Alma mater.

Liang Tao (Foshan Xintao Technology, the first in the industry segment): Xintao Technology started from Hainan, settled in Foshan, registered in the new three boards, ranked first among private enterprises in the industry, and it was awarded the Outstanding Enterprise of the 1st Guangdong Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, competing with the Fortune 500. In the past decade, the annual output has jumped from 5,000 tons to 100,000 tons. I'm grateful to all the support from the EMBA of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University along the way.

Guan Weihua (Guangdong Xinyipai Building Materials Co., Ltd.): In the past ten years, I've gained health and good friends from the platform of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University, and meanwhile, I've learned the principles of enterprise management. A healthy body is the essential capital of the alumni and entrepreneurs. I hope that everyone will continue to have a healthy attitude and life in your life.

Yuan Jianhua (Shuangyu Architectural Art Engineering Co., Ltd., leader in art cement building materials): The Business School, Sun Yat-sen University has taught me the management knowledge and broadened my vision; The mutual assistance between my classmates has helped me regain my competitiveness in the process of starting my own business. Shuangyu Architectural Art Engineering Co., Ltd. has become the first batch of national high-tech enterprises in Guangdong province after years of development, and it has successfully transformed from a single engineering company into a leading construction cement design, production and R&D enterprise in China.

Deng Shenwei (Honggu Shangpin Group): In the past ten years, I should be considered as one of the students of EMBA Class 2 enrolled in Autumn 2007 who have gained the most! The experience of the EMBA of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University has once again ignited my entrepreneurial determination, broadened my vision, and enhanced my confidence! I started with the creating of a national leather brand, and now I'm moving towards the diversified development of the leather fashion industry group, private education and property industry, which's inseparable from the help and support of alumni.

Yuan Zhiming (Guangzhou Kuai Tu Wei Ying Enterprise Management Consulting Company): I've transformed from a professional manager to an entrepreneur, and realized multiple resources integration through the platform of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University. During these years of entrepreneurship, I've got through the channels of undergraduate, MBA and EMBA entrepreneur. Students practice in the EMBA Company, exercise their abilities, feed back the alumni, and improve the closeness of students and alumni. As vice president of the EMBA Alumni Council of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University, I believe that "gratitude", "high-tech", "health" and "cross-grade integration" are the key words of our next decade, and hope that the school can give us great support in the cross-grade organization integration, high-tech project incubation.
