On the morning of November 4th, more than 70 alumni of the Accounting and Auditing Department enrolled in 1993 of our school returned to Kangle Yuan and held the 20th Anniversary Party in S443 of Shanheng Hall. Lv Yalu - curator of the Archives of our university, Lan Yu - director of the Audit Department of our university, Qi Xiaoping - secretary of the CPC Party Committee of our school, and other teachers who used to teach in those years including Li Xuerou, Yu Hua, Li Hongbin, Chen Wanling, Qi Jiangna, Tan Yan, Zeng Tao, etc. were invited to the party. The homecoming party was presided over by the graduates of Accounting and Auditing Major enrolled in 1993 and Professor Li Guangzhong - associate dean of our school.

In this homecoming party, the graduated alumni of Accounting and Auditing Major enrolled in 1993 also donated 100,000 yuan to the Li Xueru Fund of the Business School, Sun Yat-sen University to support the development of Li Xueru Fund. Alumni representatives presented the exquisitely prepared gifts to the school and teachers, and played a video specially made for the party, which included group photos with full of youth in school days, and photos of the happy family now, which triggered bursts of laughter and cheers at the scene. In the session of "class roll call once more", Chen Wanling - then head teacher and Qi Jiangna - then teacher, looked at the roll call book and called out the names of the alumni. The big screen played the photos of their enrollment at the same time, and the alumni who was called answered loudly below. The students in their late 30s were thrilled in the moment like this. Everyone seemed to have returned to the classroom more than 20 years ago. The scenes of the past school days were still so fresh as if it was yesterday.

Secretary Qi Xiaoping gave a warm welcome to the alumni returning to school, and briefed them on the development, changes and achievements of the university and the school in recent years. He emphasized on three spirits that are most worth learning and bearing in mind by Sun Yat-sen people, which are revolutionary, scientific and open. In addition, secretary Qi also made in-depth thinking and incisive summary of the reasons for the rapid development of Business School, which are "morality as base, learning as practice, and quality as core", fully affirmed the important role of the alumni in promoting the development of the school, and hoped that the connection between alumni and the school would be strengthened, and alumni would come back often.

Teacher Li Xuerou looked at the alumni's smiling faces and was pleased to say, "This is the best homecoming party I've ever attended, with the best atmosphere and well-organized!" He affectionately reviewed those years when getting along with the classmates, and their vitality. Other teachers also respectively gave speeches. They felt gratified by the achievements made by the alumni, and wished them successful career, happy life, good health and come back to their Alma mater often. Later, the alumni representatives took the stage and gave ebullient speeches. The alumni said they cherished the time when they studied in Kangle Yuan, which was a very happy and sweet memory. They expressed their gratitude to the teachers and the school for their cultivation. It was the teachers' practical rigorous academic style that inspired the students to forge ahead in all walks of life.

The time together is always short and unforgettable. The teachers and students recalled the past, looked at the present, plucked up spirit, expressed ambition, happy and harmonious, and the laughter is with full of youth. The time changed the voice and face, but could not change the affection between teachers and students, and the friendship between students. The Alma mater will always be our spiritual homeland. We hope that the students of Business School will stay true to the initial intention, forge ahead, and make progress and create bright future together with the school.
