The 2015 Annual Meeting of Beijing Alumni Forum of Our School Ends Successfully

On January 3rd, the 2015 Annual Meeting of Beijing Alumni Forum of our school was grandly held in Renmin University of China. Secretary Tan Jingsong, faculty Yu Hua, associate dean Lan Yu, deputy secretary Dai Honghui and faculty Zeng Tao attended the annual meeting.

First held was the annual meeting of the third council of Beijing Alumni Forum. Members of the council spoke freely and had heated discussions and consultation on the work of Beijing Alumni Forum in the coming year and how to carry out activities.

The annual meeting was carried on in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. More than 40 alumni of Business School in Beijing gathered together. Firstly, the alumni who came to Beijing for work or further study this year came on the stage to introduce themselves one by one. Then, Secretary Tan Jingsong spoke on behalf of the school. As a master's and doctoral graduate of Renmin University of China, he recalled his study experience in those days, and extended the deep feelings and caring of alumni to their Alma mater. He encouraged alumni to care more about the development of their Alma mater, and hoped the senior alumni can provide support and assistance for the development of the younger alumni in Beijing.

In the traditional auction session, a number of auction items raised considerable activity funds for the Beijing Alumni Forum, including the limited edition of "Sun Yat-sen Lion" which was specially created to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen University this year. After alumnus Qin Dazhong bought an exhibit at a high price, he told everyone about a story that happened in Kangle Yuan more than 20 years ago, which fully reflected the love and care of faculty Yu Hua for his students in those years. After telling the story, he presented the exhibit to faculty Yu Hua, and the audience gave warm applause.

The Beijing Alumni Forum of our school was founded in 2007. In these years, the forum has strengthened the contact and communication between alumni and Alma mater as well as between alumni and alumni, by organizing activities on a regular basis.
