Our College has been Awarded as an Advanced Unit for Alumni Work and Fund Work in Sun Yat-sen University in 2016
On the afternoon of Jan. 13, 2017, "We Walked Through Together" -- 2016 annual alumni and fund work share meeting was held in Swasey Hall in the South Campus. More than 150 people attended the meeting. They are the school party deputy secretary, vice executive president of the alumni association, vice chairman of education development foundation, Professor Li Ping, the volunteers for alumni work, responsible persons for alumni and fund work in the affiliated hospital and various departments, alumni representatives, and student representatives. The conference was presided over by Li Hanrong, the director of education development and alumni affairs office, general secretary of alumni association, and general secretary of education development foundation.
With " We Walked Through Together" as the theme, this year the alumni work and fund summary conference adopted a different form from the previous years, inviting faculty and alumni representatives who actively participated in various activities of the school alumni fund within a year to share alumni and fund work in 2016 and commonly expect the year of 2017. Alumni representatives, the graduate in 1986, Yu Zanwen, the graduate in 1992, Li Hantao, and the graduate in 2009 Li Jianrui, shared occupation mentor program, the school volleyball club program and the Li Xuerou foundation project respectively.

Units and individuals with outstanding performance in the alumni work and fund work of Sun Yat-sen University in 2016 were also praised on the conference. Our college has been rated as advanced units of alumni work and fund work, and we have won the title for four consecutive years, fully affirmed the work and work, which is the recognition not only of alumni and fund work in our college in the year 2016, but also of vigorous support for the development of schools and colleges from alumni. Dai Honghui, deputy secretary and Lai Junshan alumni was also received individual outstanding contributions to alumni and fund work. Li Ping, deputy secretary, was awarded the presentation to units and individuals respectively.

Finally, Li Ping, deputy secretary, summed up and gave an ending speech. She pointed out that the year of 2016 is the first year of implementation of national "13th Five-Year "plan and decisive stage of building a moderately well-off society in an all-round way. It is not easy to reach great achievements of the school career in this year. Our school alumni and fund work catches up with the age and pays attention to innovation, has reached a new level. On behalf of the school, she presents the thanks for efforts that all units and alumni have made for the school. She believes that alumni and alma mater are a whole as a life community. Alumni are an important symbol of a university's reputation, significant carrier of university's culture, and a meaningful manifestation of the comprehensive strength of a university. We look forward to continuing our efforts in "gathering alumni power, bringing alumni wisdom together and raising development funds" to provide more effective support for the comprehensive reform and the development of various undertakings of our university.
