On the afternoon of September 22nd, appointed by the leaders of the Central Organization Department, the relevant cadres of the Central Organization Department attended the leading cadres meeting of Shanghai Stock Exchange and announced the decision of the Central Committee: Comrade Qiu Yong was appointed Party Secretary of Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Qiu Yong, male, born in July 1966, a member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University in 1988. Worked in the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University from July 1988 to July 1997. Received a Doctoral degree in Management from Sun Yat-sen University in December 2006. Currently serves as Party Secretary of Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Qiu Yong once served as Director of Hunan Securities Regulatory Bureau, Director of Guangdong Securities Regulatory Bureau, and Director of the Institutional Department of China Securities Regulatory Commission.
