The 5th Academic Conference on "Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and FinTech" of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University was successfully held

On November 19th, 2022, the 5th Academic Conference on "Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and FinTech" of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University was successfully held online. The keynote speech in the morning and four parallel sub-forums in the afternoon attracted nearly 150 participants from inside and outside the university.

Xie Manhua - Party Secretary of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Professor Chen Yugang from the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Then the keynote speech of the conference officially began, and the first half was presided over by Professor Zhu Shushang of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University.

Professor Lu Yao from the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University presented her latest research results focusing on the theme of "Robot Adoption and Financial Information Quality".

Professor Xiong Xiong from Tianjin University gave a keynote speech entitled "Modeling Financial and Economic Systems Based on Computational Experimental Methods".

The second half of the keynote speech was presided over by Associate Professor Wei Lijian from the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University.

Professor Zhang Xueyong from Central University of Finance and Economics made a keynote speech entitled "Stock Price Anomalies of Informed Trading Based on High-frequency Data Mining".

Professor Chen Yugang from the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Divergence of Media Sentiment and Merger Outcomes".

In the afternoon, the forum set up four parallel academic seminar sub-forums focusing on four themes: "Asset Pricing and FinTech", "Text Analysis and Machine Learning", "Capital Market and Big Data", and "Big Data and Technological Innovation".
